Old men like Colin Munro and Alex Hales can still earn a big check for TTKR, while Kamil played local club cricket. Sammy gave him a chance. Jangoo was in the same situation too when Leewards took him under their wings and allowed him to shine. Yes Franchise cricket is working in that respect, but how many more Kamils and Amirs lie waiting in TNT while TTKR push for another chip.

I fully agree VOR. TKR invests every year in these underperforming overseas players while their few local players get older and older. You can add people like Mark Deyal, Tion Webster and others to that list. That is why my support in CPL (limited as it is) is for the teams that play majority of local or Caribbean players. Big up when we get great performances from the Kirks, Keems, Keemos and Kamils of this region.

I saw this K.Pooran play a couple 4 day matches when he opened with a fella named V.Mohan,the match was against Jamaica with 3 of the quickest bowlers in the Caribbean,Ojay Shields,O'Shane Thomas and Odean Smith.He played a couple more matches and made runs, he looked very good in his 4 day role and it surprised me that he wasn't seen again.His opening partner also looked just as good.If it takes D.Sammy to recognise a talent from TT it says something about Pollard,Bravo and N.Pooran,maybe they saw nothing in K.Pooran,i hope that K.P shows gratitude to his team and D.Sammy and stays with the St.Lucia team,say no to TT if they ask you next CPL

Bravo seh his brothers are better players... last year he selected washed up Micheal, this year he went for the other one.

I thought he was younger, that guy is 30 years old and now coming to the fore, from his few innings we definitely need to see more of him. I was only able to keep checking the score last night but i need to see him bat.

This is what i have been driving at, we need to expose more players, there are good players who don't get a chance for both valid and invalid reasons. to remedy this we must have free and full movement of players in the Caribbean and eventually begin to break up Windwards and Leewards. Look at Greaves with Leewards and success he has brought to them On that note I think Forde should switch to Windwards as well, this would make them stronger in regional games, Forde is a very good player who is surplus to requirements in Barbados

TKR is all about winning titles and not player development , their lineup reflects that, Bravo and Pollard need a legacy
