Likely for the same reason they took way too long to do the same with Josh DaSilva in the first game. That cost them big time in net run rate in that match, compounded by sending in Jyd Goolie as his replacement.
Dwayne Bravo has a ton of experience in the game and this format in particular. But he has shown so far that he lacks tactical acumen.
I listened to his interview with Carlos Brathwaite and Nikhil. He touted his “dreams” as a basis for his success in the coaching arena. He said Otis Gibson always marvels at how often he can accurately predict what will happen in a match. He admitted he doesn’t know anything about tactics etc and leaves it to the experts like Gibson. His role is man management.

Was D'Silva'retired out or hurt?...in any event Tromp's sr was a diabolical 57%... so was wondering if was one of our own (so to speak) would they have felt more "comfortable" retiring him out as opposed to Tromp for obvious reasons!!!🤔

As a cricket fan, I got to say I was completely bamboozled by the Cappo/Coach... whomever was really incharge on their decision to NOT retire the guy.... I don't give 2 fcuks local or foreigner... you're a player and you're not having a good match... it doesn't take long to see he wasn't timing the ball at all......
Mind you.... I will NEVER back TKR....... hahaha
