Garfield Sobers and Frank Worrell shared a historic 399-run partnership for the fourth wicket during the first Test against England at Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados, starting on January 6, 1960. 

 Sobers scored 226 runs, while Worrell contributed 197 not out. 

 This stand lasted nine and a half hours, spanning from Friday evening to Tuesday morning, and remains the highest fourth-wicket partnership for the West Indies against all countries. 

 The pair became the first to bat through two complete days of a Test match.
