TKR honour ‘DJ’ Bravo

The Trinbago Knight Riders have retired Dwayne Bravo’s number 47 jersey in recognition of his extraordinary contribution to the team, the Caribbean Premier League (CPL), and cricket in Trinidad and Tobago.

Bravo was honoured during a ceremony before Saturday’s game against the Jamaica Kingsmen at the Queen’s Park Oval.The 42-year-old Bravo won the CPL five times as a player and also led the Knight Riders to the title last year as head coach.

He is the first player in CPL history to have his jersey retired.
