[On his mindset in the shortened game] I think the mindset was still the same. I was just trying in the beginning to be on the crease and just feel some balls and see how the wicket is playing, how much spin there is and everything, and then pick it up from there.

[On when he decided to attack, particularly against Sunil Narine] I think it was when Sunil came on. I was like, I don't want because we know we're playing Sunil and then Tariq as well, so I didn't want a next spinner to just come in and settle. So my plan was to attack him as much as possible, put him off his game, and then so that they would bring back Sunil and Tariq and the other guys earlier.

[On when he realised it could become a big innings] To be honest, no, straight. I wasn't really thinking about that too much. I was really focused on making sure the team gets a good score, because we were a little bit behind when the rain started to come out back for 16 overs. So my plan was just when we come back out, take a couple more and see how many we could get.

[On what he meant by saying this innings involved more thinking] Honestly, like myself and my wife and my two kids, we sit down and we pray a lot, and she gave to me, she's like, just give yourself a couple of balls. Some of the other guys in the team have just said the same, just give yourself a couple of balls, and at any point in the game you could catch up. So my plan was to just take a couple, just see what the pitch is doing, and then from then on see how much I could get.

TKR don't have good fast bowlers...the spinners can only do so much

i realize like plenty west indians, allyuh driven by pure emotion.........so I'll enlighten you: Tallawahs were chasing a total of 224, and russell came into the wicket at 41-5 and from there scored 121 runs unbeaten. from 41-5, JA reached the target with three deliveries to spare. this is in addition to Russell taking a hattrick in TKR's innings

I somewhat agree with you but one innings beat the eventual champions and one innings virtually eliminated the defending champions so it’s still a toss up also factor in the occasion in T&T as well!!!
