Yes they have home advantage but do they have the quality to take advantage of the home cooking? Their three best batsmen QTK, Rutherford and King and they all have been quite inconsistent this season. The young Carter and Clarke have some potential but they need time and we have seen this Bajan tridents team melt time after time chasing. Bowling wise they have a decent attack with Sams, Mujeeb, Green but nothing menacing. Also they got to make the top 4 first as they should with 4 games in hand after this and 4 points so even if they lose this game they have time to recover? They play SLK tomorrow who need to win to get closer to the final 4 as their last game is vs GAW. Another loss for the Tridents well it could get dicey. SKNP are still in it too and would want to win their matchup vs the Tridents. Tough road ahead for all except GAW.

As a supporter of the Tridents, I can comfortably say that the team won't be making it to the playoffs. Based on what I have seen thus far, GAW deserves to win the CPL. As in the team that can challenge them, I'd like the ABF to win just to have every franchise win the CPL.

Quite premature to say they won't make the Final 4 as they still have 4 games to play and 4 points and the rest of the teams outside GAW are struggling for consistency. Of the 4 games they have to play 3 off those games are against contenders for a playoff spot: SLK , SKNP and JK assuming GAW are already safe. Fate in their own hands.

One would think so but this embarrassing performance with the bat makes me think otherwise. There is far too much inexperience in the batting line up and when QDK, King and Rutherford don't turn up, it is game over for the team. It is up to the men to prove me wrong but in recent years they have been incredibly disappointing. I won't hold my breath.
