Coach Bravo determined for strong TKR rebound
DWAYNE BRAVO has urged Trinbago Knight Riders’ supporters to remain loyal through the disappointment of their early exit from the 2026 Republic Bank Caribbean Premier League, insisting the five-time champions will return stronger.
Bravo, speaking in an Instagram video posted Saturday afternoon, acknowledged that TKR’s elimination following last Friday night’s six-wicket defeat against Guyana Amazon Warriors was a bitter blow, but said he could not fault the effort of his players.But the coach insisted Friday’s elimination does not signal the end of TKR’s ambitions. “This is not the end of TKR. This just allows us and gives us that burning desire, a motivation, to come back stronger,” Bravo said.
Bravo, who was part of TKR’s success as a player, said his competitive instincts remain undiminished as the franchise prepares to regroup. “As a champion, I am determined to look forward to the next season, as always,” he said.
