The economies of Caribbean countries...

... are being crushed as a consequence of the Iran war. We are helpless as we suffer from the decisions made by the American bully. What is our recourse? We do not deserve this. We have no answers.

And to hear from the fool: "we need to stop trading with countries that we have a deficit with...1.5 trillion yearly can be saved..."

What an ignoramus? Trump didn't spend a nanosecond thinking what if countries with a trade deficit with America end all trade with it?

The fool is doing everything he can to weaken the United States. And his supporters here dance and prance assynchronously. Bloody fools!!

We cannot tell them don't indulge in racism and there should be no affinity for their race. This is their prerogative.

I am not sure the supporters here are all white. But I am cocksure that at least one is black like me and one is Indian and one is a douglar

I'm agreeing wholeheartedly with the substance of the post but with a slight disagreement on helplessness in the long term. Even though it will initially cost more, be difficult and always rely on some amount of fossil fuel; Caribbean nations must start an aggressive renewable energy revolution! Then stick together and strengthen ties with Africa, Asia, Europe.

Can you imagine Uncle Sam isn't only blocking Cuba from oil but also SOLAR PANELS? And the world is silent!

I should have said: we have no immediate easy prescriptions. I take your point...Canada has opened eyes.
