A big concern for the Guyana Amazon Warriors coming into this game is their recent batting form at the Kensington Oval venue. Pitch conditions here have been tough for batters and Guyana have struggled badly to set competitive totals, getting bowled out for just 99 and 76 in their last two matches on this ground.
The Jamaica Kingsmen will look to capitalize on those batting struggles early on, while the Warriors will rely on their strong bowling attack to keep things tight. Playing conditions like pitch behavior and dew could also play a big part in match decisions as the game goes on.

Jamaica Kingsmen have won the toss and have opted to field

Rovman Powell: We will bowl first. Hopefully our bowling make the most of it. We have done enough training and it's about time to put it up there. We are playing the same team.

Imran Tahir: We are really up for the challenge. We are not the team that will not fall off. Toss is not in our control, we will assess the condition and play accordingly. We got one change. Dwaine is in. We thought this will be the best team.

Pitch Report by Ian Bishop: We are ready for Qualifier 2, all set and the weather report is very, very good here at Kensington Oval. Just a 5% chance of rain and that we hope will never even materialize. So that’s a good start.
But generally 150 is the highest score, or 151, the highest total on this Barbados leg. I’m hoping tonight for a bit more. I still think there’ll be some purchase for the spinners first up and it depends on how things play out in the second half.
So all in all, the guys have to bat better because the bowlers have been doing their job and we’re hoping for a complete game and a few more runs in Qualifier 2.

Another direct-hit from Kingsmen. This time it is Paul.

3.4

Andre Russell to Mavendra Dindyal, no run, another direct-hit from Kingsmen. This time it is Keemo Paul. Have they got another run-out? Wow the batter is well short at the time of contact with the stumps, but the bails took a while to get dislodged. Lucky for Dindyal, he makes it back in. Keemo Paul runs to his right and picks up the ball one-handed to fire a direct-hit at the striker's end. Dindyal made it back in lucikly. This was tucked to the on-side and Mavendra Dindyal looked to steal a single
