New teams usually struggle when they join professional sports leagues around the world.

The Caribbean Premier League is a delightful departure from established teams dominating.

In 2026 the league's two newest teams, the first year Kingsmen and the second year Falcons, are in the final.

Hopefully, this will encourage new franchises to join the CPL as they realize they don't have to wait donkey's years to win a championship.

Congratulations to the Antigua and Barbuda Falcons along with the Jamaica Kingsmen.

This CPL has a certain spark to it...No team was Awful...People say TKR was not up to scratch but they too were always competitive in my opinion- This Year the competition seemed truly competitive.
