Trinis like Jangoo, Joshua James, and Jayden Seales will forever be indebted to Antigua and Barbuda, and in Jangoo's case Leeward Islands for giving them a chance when TKR and TTCB turned their backs on them chasing trophies.

The players noted above came up thru the T&TCB system. They have been around for over the last 5 years excelling at T&TCB FC tournaments. TKR is not a fully complimented T&T team. Only so many can be chosen, thus one sees them playing on other franchises. A few more still exists in the FC system in T&T.

Congrats to the Falcons. They played well during the entire season. Congrats to the runners up, Kingsmen. They also played well.

The Trinidad and Tobago Legions won the inaugural West Indies Breakout League trophy. They secured the title by defeating the Leeward Islands Thunder by 17 runs in the final on May 10, 2025, at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Tarouba, Trinidad and Tobago.

The top individual performers for the Trinidad and Tobago Legions during their successful championship run, particularly in the final match, include:

Kamil Pooran: The standout opening batter led the team's batting charge in the final, smashing a dominant 73 runs off just 44 balls. His explosive innings included seven fours and four sixes, making him one of the top ten overall batters of the tournament and earning him a selection into the West Indies setup.

Joshua Da Silva (Captain): The skipper stepped up under pressure when the team was in a tough spot at 83-4. He anchored the back half of the innings, scoring a crucial, unbeaten 40 off 31 balls* (including four boundaries and a six) to anchor their total of 181.

Joshua James: Highlighted for providing late-innings firepower, he contributed massive power-hitting down the stretch of the final to help push the game out of reach for the opposition.

Navin Bidaisee: The prominent leg-spinner was a primary threat for the Legions with the ball. His performances across the tournament earned him widespread praise from the Cricket West Indies (CWI) technical team and immediately earned him a spot with the St. Kitts & Nevis Patriots in the Caribbean Premier League

Congrats indeed to the Falcons.

They were easily the best team of the tournament and it was really wonderful to see my old cricketing hero Curtly Ambrose celebrating another title.

Congrats to Miami Dolphins "B team", The Dallas Cowboys on their victory yesterday. There are about five players from state of Florida on the Cowboys franchise roster. ๐Ÿ˜„

Sarge quit with the obfuscation. We know they came through your system, but Kamilis 30 years now, why has he been ignored at FC level while you all brought back Evin Lewis, and persisted with Jason Mohmmed. Same can be said for TKR's persistence with Hales and then promoting Tromp. Josh is there but he was not even the first choice keeper. These guys are not part of the Clique, that's why.

.There is a major misconception about T20 cricket in Trinidad and Tobago. Many people look at the Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR) as the local team, but TKR is entirely owned and operated by foreign investors. The true national or territorial representation for T&T in T20 cricket didn't materialize until 2025.

For years, Cricket West Indies (CWI) was legally blocked from organizing a domestic T20 tournament due to a massive blunder where the format's regional rights were signed over to the CPL for 50 years. To launch a domestic tournament in 2025, CWI had to secure permission from the CPL. This agreement paved the way for an authentic T&T squad to compete, and ironically, it was Joshua Da Silva who captained the team straight to a championship victory.

So your rebuttal is moot.....

Is it really 50 years?

Contract Details & Controversy

The agreement was originally signed in late 2012 between the West Indies Cricket Board (now CWI) and Verus International. Initially reported publicly as a 20-year agreement, it was later confirmed by CWI President Dr. Kishore Shallow and CPL executives to be an extensive half-century deal.

The contract contains a "break" clause after 30 years (around 2042). However, the extraordinary length of the deal has drawn heavy criticism from CARICOM Heads of Government, who have labeled the arrangement "lopsided" and "unequally yoked," leading to ongoing pressure on both entities to renegotiate the terms

VOR hero's signed such...Hunte and Hilaire

Also a relative of Hunte posts here.

He stated his objective is to get even with the nasty posts by individuals on this site at that time.
