My CC.com peeps who have been on here since 2003, you know that Grenada has been my home for nearly 30 years.

I have made the very difficult decision to pack up and move back to Jamaica as my base, by the end of this year.

The period from now until December is my busiest period at work, so I will need many beach days to help keep stress and anxiety away!

I am grateful to still have my parents still mostly healthy and self-sufficient (89 and 86). They can still drive, no dementia is present and their sporting days and healthy eating have served them well.

But having been in Jamaica last year for Hurricane Melissa, I saw how it would have been difficult if I weren't there. Also, my Aunt passed away this year, unexpectedly, so that was a jolt.

No, I cannot afford to retire, so I will have to look for work in the Caribbean. Ideally, I would love to do what I did from 2003 to 2005 which was go to various countries in the Caribbean and conduct training. I was fortunate that all those contracts came via word of mouth. I did not have to do cold calls and all of them things. The compensation was adequate and it allowed me to travel up and down to cricket matches and bring interviews and stories to you. I think within that time period, I worked a total of 8 months

So if you need someone to focus on standards, performance improvement, organisational restructuring and work planning, I'm your girl. And no, I am not restricted to work in hotels. I have worked in a government statutory body, a credit union and have had clients in the real estate, medical, marine services and law sectors.

I prefer to work with small to medium sized businesses....less bureaucracy.
