I am glad you brought it up. This guy is simply in self-preservation mode all the time. Always looking to defend. This is not how a #3 batsman approaches the game.
Further, running plenty of singles does not help Greaves. What do the decision makers see in this batsman?

The guy has played 49 ODIs striking @ 75.00. How long again it will take for him to come good.
We have long past the point of diminishing returns. No top batter strikes @ 75 in this modern game.

When Shai Hope was batting @ a SR of about 70 I criticized him incessantly and he did sometime about it. And I was a big fan of his. We have got to call it as we see it.
