Sammy is doing the best he can do from observation, there are only a few players up to international standards that he has to choose from. However, the CWI should have another official Selector, but that might be an expense they cannot afford.

Scammy has always suffered from a massive insecurity complex..
He knew he didn't deserve to be captain on merit
West Indies won lickit world cups despite Scammy..
He was appointed coach, not because he was qualified, but because he was willing to carry water for his equally incompetent handlers
He promptly got rid of Rovmon Powell because Powell wasn’t going to let this fool tell him how to captain on the field of play..

What's the basis of this supposed favoritism? Nationality? Training regimen buy-in? Strategic alignment?
Who are these 'best players' that Sammy doesn't pick?

Brandon King- All format player who has been an abysmal failure at least at T20IS and ODIS yest Sammy keeps picking him.
John Campbell- come back from exile. Sammy took him in.
Justin Greaves not selected consistently before now Sammy took him in and made him a regular and look where he is now?
Roston Chase- A good trier.
Matthew Forde
Shamar Joseph in every team he must be one of his faves.
Quentin Sampson- selected for WC and now for India based on little but potential.
Hetmeyer can walk in/out as he chooses.
Vitel Lawes, Jewel Andrew two youngsters from U-19. Prematurely placed in the team?
Ackeem Auguste same as Quentin - He from SL so he must be his favorite, don't mind some of the others above consistently fail ( BK) and are less committed (SH).

Moeein must be got this from one of the local players. Alzarri Joseph I agree you were wrongly publicly chided by Sammy when faves like Hetmeyer get to do what they want but please you need to leave this nonsense alone.
I agree wholeheartedly that Sammy should not be sole selector/coach but to make a serious allegation without giving an example is unbecoming of a man that I had a lot of respect for. However Caribbean lap-dogs , Sammy haters will feast on it because West Indians only love to pull each other down and the outsiders see that and jump on it.
