Lawes needs a mentor: CWI has none?

Read below

Warne's overarching philosophy was that high-level coaching was redundant for seasoned, world-class athletes.
Ironically, despite his disdain for traditional technical coaches, Warne deeply valued his personal bowling mentor and confidant, Terry Jenner
The "Tune-Up" Sessions: Jenner did not lecture Warne on sports science; instead, he focused entirely on "rhythm and feel." They would spend hours working on tiny physical adjustments, like arm height and grips, to get Warne "spinning up and spinning big" again.
Warne later in life even took on consulting and coaching capacities himself.

Unfortunately Lawes is not a  seasoned, world-class athlete.

Even the best needs a bowling mentor and confidant coach....

Can CWI offer such to diamonds in the rough?

They are great at turning them into charcoal...

Unfortunately Lawes needs more than Nikita can offer at this stage of his career...

Lawes needs to play overseas in the English leagues , where help is available.

He has a mentor may not be the best mentor but he has one.

You do not need to be a great player to be a great coach

In fact rarely do great players make great coaches

Yep ....

"It’s the same story every single game. Our batsmen / bowlers are stuck making the same fundamental mistakes they picked up as youngsters.

Lawes doesn't need rigid textbooks or over-coaching; he needs that "tune-up" mentorship to trust his variations and rip it. Focus on the rhythm, the grip, and the instinct. Such is not available at CWI.

CWI doesn't have the personnel at Head office to survive !

Bring in the top CWI coaches, and literally nothing changes.

When does the cycle end?

Oh! another 3 decades?

Oh..Bish is a spin bowler I gats ya...

What did you expect him to say ...

That he lacks the rhythm, the grip, and the instinct as we saw today.

India made him look ordinary.

What bowler did not look ordinary on that pitch?

He still had respectable figures and could have gotten a couple of wickets

He needs some one better ..one who is familiar with the various conditions worldwide.

One cannot bowl the same every where.
