I absolutely despise Roston Waste but which off spinning all rounder would you replace him with?

Do we really need an off spinning all rounder?

Based on those numbers we still considering him an off spinner or all rounder?

Yea because all WI have is left arm finger spinners and an U19 leggie lol

Chase is not good but is really the only option unless someone gets Cornwall on Ozempic or one of the Sinclair’s get their shit together!!!

Is an "off-spinning allrounder"a must in any XI regardless the format?

Sinclair....

The boy should be managed.... brought back....he showed his capability in two tough tours... Australia and Pakistan.

Because of lopsided fields in T20’s and even ODI’s where one side is bigger you need someone to take the ball away from left handers recent example is when GAW lost that skill with Nabi they went on to lose!!!

Test matches maybe not so much but it does help with over rates!!!

Lawes needs to play the longer formats to gain greater control. Did you see how he was caned during the last ODI.

It was a good thing he sustained an injury.

Hahahahahaha!!!

Because his economy rate is usually among the best on the team and one of the few who can be guaranteed to bowl his full quota of 4 overs in T20

Okay, that explains his t20i inclusion.. although Motie with a better economy in on the bench and he's playing ahead of him.

What's the reason for his inclusion in the ODI and test XIs?

Tests: Sammy is hoping that he can regain form of initial career I guess

ODI: Sammy hoping that regained form helps with ODI

It doesnt hurt that he plays for the Kings

You'all missing the point. The man hardly turns the ball because he grips it so "slightly" A team with an accurate part-timeri.e. line, length surprise yorker/darts is a better team than one with a washed up offie who has to be pushed down the order. I wouldn't really call Viv and Larry offies.

And which of our bowlers has not been "caned" one time or the other. I take it you think he is not ready, but being caned, seems a bit nit picking. smile
