I personally believe that the age group 8-12 is very important. This is where strong technique should be imparted in the young player and regional governments must take responsibility for this level of development. If you are rooted in strong technique the rest can be attained easily.
It is not easy when you are expected to score from ball one..especially when the guy at the other end has been designated to bat through the innings
