WI look to carry momentum into 3rd T20I

West Indies will be looking to build on their record-breaking run chase and take the lead in the five-match T20 International series when they face India in the third match in Indore from 9.30 a.m. T&T time today. With conditions expected to continue favoring batting and Indore historically producing big scores, the Windies will have to produce another big performance if they are to take the lead in the series.

The teams head into the contest level at 1-1 after West Indies produced a stunning performance in Ranchi on Friday, chasing down India’s imposing 249 for five with six wickets and nine balls to spare.

It was the highest successful run chase in West Indies men’s T20I history, and the second-highest in the format, with captain Shai Hope and Sherfane Rutherford leading the charge in a 252 for four reply.
