Why West Indies Have Already "Won" This Series, Voicey?
Cricket isn't played in a vacuum. The sheer gap in resources, domestic structures, and home-ground advantages makes this a massive triumph for Darren Sammy’s group. Think about what this squad has done on tracks deliberately tailored for the hosts.
Shai Hope has been playing out of his skin, completely anchoring this batting unit, culminating in that absolutely staggering, ruthless 102 off just 50 balls to blow India away in the 4th T20.
Roston Chase and Gudakesh Motie have brought the exact tactical discipline and spin variations needed to choke India's explosive batting order in the middle overs.
Rovman Powell and Shimron Hetmyer have provided the fearless, veteran muscle in the middle order to ensure the team chases or sets massive, un-chasable totals.
They didn't just compete; they played an astonishing brand of cricket that put a world-class Indian team firmly on the back foot on their own dirt. No matter who lifts the official piece of silverware after the final in Bengaluru, the West Indies have already won the real psychological and structural war. If you can't see the massive statement this team has made, you're looking at the sport through a very narrow lens.
