Anon: "They've not been failures but Hodge has been inconsistent since his 123, King has been dropped from the white ball squads on form, and Tage has just gotten starts. It's great to finally have competition for places. But in the order of things, Da Silva was brought in against Pak, given 1 Test, and dropped to give Hope the gloves as Jangoo seized his chance. As Hope is rested, the natural order is to give Da Silva the gloves, unless we give it to Jangoo full time to free Hope's workload in Tests."

Natural order? Tell you boy Josh when a team scored 626 he needs to contribute more than 3 runs. His shoddy keeping and the 3 runs he scored disrupted the natural order. At least he still in the squad.

A St Lucian is doing what someone did to Sarwan....

Remember the dude who noted "he is clueless about cricket and how CWI wins by first innings?"

Anon: "Da Silva still can't get a game. Jangoo isn't even the first choice keeper for Trinidad, Da Silva is. WI seem keen on playing batters first in Hope and Jangoo, and burdening them with keeping instead of allowing them to focus on batting. Note than Da Silva has been one of the top scorers regionally over the past couple of seasons, but can't get a consistent run to prove himself again. I'd rather Jangoo focus on just batting and expected one of King, Tage, and Hodge to miss out based on form."

However, Jangoo is the better keeper between the 2. So I would also lean towards him. However, Josh is a better bat than Tage and would relish batting at 3 .

natty

That wicket will soon be a minefield, its already showing signs of wear at the edges.

Spinners love such....wait till CWI bats ...Josh would have been an asset.

Yes the Test where he dropped three catches and made only 3 in a score of 626 Must have been greatly relieved when we scored 626.
I agree he should have played as I had him in my team. Can do no worse than Tage.
