At the beginning of his role as head-coach and selector the tribalists and insecure amongst us maligned, scormed and questioned everything he sort to establish for his tenure.

As I write, I say do so with specific reference to the appointment of Jommel Wartican as Vice Captain of the WI team.

Repeatedly and mockingly the question has been ask, why have a vc when he cannot fit into the first XI each time the WI takes the field.

Would it have been justified to include Warrican in every WI squad, since if he wasn't in the playing XI, had he not been the VC?

We all know how the critical role of spinner has been handled in past WI teams.

So I am asking for a friend

2021 tour of Bangladesh...Warrican team up with Cornwall...did very well... since then....under Ice-cream man, he did well...under Coley, he demolished Pakistan in Pakistan...

Dammy has rather misused him....playing him in absolute seaming conditions... against Australia,South Africa.... simply passenger..not a single ball bowled..

Warrican has many hater here....but with performance...he silenced one and all....

But in truth and in fact, Sammy got basket to carry water. What has the board done in the past 15 years that would have improved out cricket?

Their "due diligence" is not about cricket ...its the perks that comes with such position..
