Sharma bowled 20 overs

83 dot balls = approx. 14 overs of dot balls.**** dot balls are not a direct measure of accuracy. In this spell he did not make basmen play enough.

..................................

Conclusion: ^ 6 scored off overs cost him 82 runs.

Over 4 runs per over in test cricket without wickets to show for it is not good enough.

My POV: Sharma Joseph is ineffective on uresponsive pitches.. He needs to be more accurate, develop variety and learn how to think batsmen out. He needs to learn this quickly..

Yes I'm arguing against it cos yuh have to look at his overall record ....the yute is a veteran of a WHOLE 16 testπŸ˜€ ...how many greats of the past was the finished article after 16 test ....not long ago ppl were saying that Seales had regressed cos he had a woeful series in NZ which was obviously nonsense....Shamar is a whole-hearted out an out quick bowler cos pace kills an is better to have it(pace) than not ...typically with all quick bowlers as they age an their pace has dropped they develop a few more tricks an no doubt the same will be with Shamar but right now his job is to bowl quick an not get too cute....let's not get it twisted I'm talking about test cricket...depending on the track i wouldn't necessarily select Shamar for ODI's an t20's!
