Wendy Nanan, a contemporary artist from Trinidad and Tobago will feature an exhibition of her cricket art, Beyond Boundaries, at a conference in London from March 1-3, 2007.

The conference, titled "Cricket: Dawn of a new world - growth, development and commerce," is being organised by the Institute of Commonwealth Studies at the University of London and intends to explore the influences driving the development of recreational and professional cricket internationally.

Nanan's work is expected to be a big part of the opening of the conference but the exhibition requires sponsorship if it is to come off.

Wendy's work is absolutely fabulous. She is recognized across the globe. When I was in T&T I went to her studio which is across the road from my peeps.

I did some writing for her exhibition two years ago and she sent me a fabulous print. She is a superb artist.
Wish I could afford one of her Lara's.
