A year or two ago, I attended an art exhibition hosted by CLICO, featuring the work of Wendy Nanan, a Trinidad and Tobago artist. Her display featured paintings of cricket, and that was primarily what drew me.

Most of the art on cricket that I have seen are realistic depictions of scenes and players. Faithful renditions of grounds, buildings, pitches at play, players captured at their glorious moments, wrought through the use of photographs to freeze the moments.

Wendy is a brilliant artist. Her work is first class.

My opinion is that Wendy needs to approach Corporations & Buisness Houses to sponsor her , in return she could probably have cards and or flyers made that her Exhibit is being sponsored bt who gave her donations to assist her in her exihibition .

"A year or two ago"....and now come to write on it...

...like..."lemme see...I ent have nutting to do..ah wonder what ah could write about...ahhmmm...hmmmm...errr...

...aha!...dem painting by Wendy somebody...I go check name later...that I see a year or two ago but couldn't be bothered to write about then....lemme insult she by writing about it now...."

A gratuitous insult to the artist, if you ask me.

It would have been far better if the author did not feel an itching....to write....and choose Ms Nanan as her innocent victim.

No that's fine Reds...I have no problem when she writes about cricket as art and about cricket grounds and about the people in the stands....I just hate when she writes about cricket.

Is like Crissy arguing with Spuds about playing across the line.

Actually Chrissy just keeps away..she has more sense than that.
