Australia and the West Indies are the first two teams to advance to the Super 8 stage of the ICC Cricket World Cup.

This means that the March 27 fixture at the brand new Sir Vivian Richards Cricket Ground in Antigua between D2 and A1 will indeed feature the hosts – the Windies – and the reigning CWC champions, Australia. Having already won two out of their three Group Stage matches, both sides have earned their place in the second round of the competition

Well Im glad we are through but a bit annoyed that I made a big mistake in tickets.I did not know WI would be D2 whatever the results .Pray when did ICC and WICB publicise this?.I had stupidly thought that by beating Pakistan and toppoing the group WI would be D1 and play A1 (Australia) in Barbados.If it was always WI as D2 why not say WI ( or whoever replaced them) instead of d2 in the programme? Now my D1 matches are Ireland

That kinda sucks but try make the best outta it.

Drink plenty beer. Find a decent lookin Irish gyul (I only did see 1 or 2 on de coverage to be honest) and fugg to yuh hearts content.

Maybe if yuh drink enough beer...it eh go really matter what dem Irish woman dem look like anyway... 8)

Because most people especially those in administrative and managerial positions cannot write nor explain themselves clearly. They get paid big bucks for doing very little and believe me when I say that most people in these positions are incompetent. So before making a committment to something, dig deep and find out for yourself what is really going on. Don't ever believe what you read nor hear without doing a thorough check for yourself.

D2 will always be WI. These people fix these games before they f=had the results for the sup8 they know which team they wanted to play where.
