I'm suddenly sickened by the relentless onslaught of criticism for the Cricket World Cup (CWC). Not that the critics are being unfair, but it has become a one-eyed rant that has done a lot to extract any remaining juice.
Condemnations have come from without and within, some of the former reeking of smugness, and much of the latter heavy with hypocrisy.

the glass could be 1/2 full
In fact more, if our team had shown some "real" fight
Awwwwwwwwwwww. This article brings some cheer to my otherwise somber look on WI cricket.

The way the author is literally scraping to find "something to love"...."uniforms"????
Nice piece Vaniesa... thx
Well said. This author is a very sharp tack.
You know what sucks? Every internet list has to be a round number preferably 10.
Points 1 and 2 are fine.
Point 3...umm...I don't think the ICC is taking much of a hit if you don't buy gate tickets. Feel free to correct me.
Point 4 That's debatable. I don't think anybody will be clamouring to see Bangadesh vs team X still. Ireland is 100% minnow but that's point 5. I'm not really sure how Bangladesh and Ireland have made the WI look small. Maybe I missed Ireland beating up on the WI. Maybe after WI pay Bangladesh the author would have a legit point.
Point 5: agreed
Point 6: ....ok Elsa..though I tend to agree
Point 7....at this point it's clear that the author's just gunning for that list of 10 and has just given up.
