Newly appointed vice captain of the West Indies team Daren Ganga said that the team is looking to play better cricket in moving from the One Day game to Test cricket.

"We're looking forward to playing better cricket as a team in the longer version of the game especially with the backdrop of the team's performance in World Cup 2007," Ganga said prior to the team's departure for England.

Please guys whatever you do, No bad attitude, give your best effort, love and treat each teammate as you would your blood brother, a matter of a fact treat each one of your team mates as you would wanted to be treated! That characteristic never go wrong.

Ganga as expected saying all the right things, however my friend talk is cheap. Show me the "money" make that the scoreboard come next Thursday.

You do know that the route to captaincy is a very short one?Sarwan has been hit a few times by the quickies,lets hope that Harmison and company dont target him,if that happens and he gets hurt and is unable to play,guess what?Yuh na see dat.

Ganga is a born leader and I am pleased with his first public statement in his new role.

Ganga knows how to say all the right things although someone as intelligent as he is knows full well that it's all tripe.

All that crap about "rally round each other", "supporting my captain" and all the other rose-tinted talk does not reflect the real situation and Ganga knows that. He knows that most of them have their long knives barely concealed and can hardly wait to plunge them in each other's backs.

He knows...but he knows how to play the game too.

Wasn't Ganja a member of the test team on tour recently? How magnificently did the team perform, since we are on this teamship track suddenly?? And was he a part of that debacle??? Does he in turn believe the other team members have forgotten the results?? As I said before, Ganja is better suited to selling cars, as he can fool no one save for himself and his apologists. Take that and put it in your pipe and go smoke on Maracas Bay!!

I know Mr. Powen001 would surely agree with Ms. Vaneisa and her postings! Mr. Powen001 has left his family,brethren and possessions and travel to a far country namely the caribbean.
There he has converted a few followers namely himself and a few tunnel apparition disciples.

Upon his arival he found Ganga and St Joseph playing in the caribeer tournament, he then said to them follow me and I will make you fishers of cricket. He then decided to make Ganga captain of the now defunct West Indian sinking ship! After crossing the Caribbean sea’s on his malign Sata Maria. Mr. Powen001 saw Sar’s aboad A JDF helicopter waving a white flag saying, peace be still, peace be still, the inept Monarch Mr. Gordon of the Caribbean and the WICB has Anointed me Captain of the Defunct West Indian Sinking Ship.

As the boisterous wind and waves beats against Mr. Powen001 maligned Sata Maria, upon his countenance you could see the abhorrent features of a distressful heart perplex with disbelief to the news from the JDF Helicopter, that Sar’s is now the Captain of the defunct West Indian Sinking Ship.

As Mr. Powen001 and his Captain and Vice Captain Ganga and St Joseph arive at the port of dissappointment! There were no one to greet them on arrival, only Ms. Vaneisa, the pontificating Jounalist of the Caribbean. With her vistige asserted and her note pad anchored, she then wrote these words! Ah Ah Ah I am discombobulated Mr. Powen001, Captain Ganga and Vice Captain St Joseph at the selection of Sar’s as the one at the Helmed of the defunct West Indian Sinking Ship. I cannot believe Gordon Greenidge, Andy Roberts and Mr. Butts would have the audacity to ignore our Captain Ganga and Vice Captain St Joseph.

Mr. Powen001 broke out in tears, his cheeks filled with self pitty, his egocentricity broke from under his humanity, his countenance dropped, he felt destroyed by the News of MS. Vaneisa. He then beckon to his Captain and Vice Captain Ganga and St Joseph to relinquish their voyage and humble themselves at the mercy of the selectors.

Mr. Powen001 is now a proud client of the Belleview Sanitarium! He is visited regularly by his former Captain Ganga and Vice St Joseph and the pontificating Journalist Ms. Vaneisa.

Obviously you have something thing against Trinidadians and their country.
