What's sending mysterious repeating fast radio bursts in space?

The only known repeating fast radio burst in the universe just got more extreme.

These radio flashes usually last a millisecond and have an unknown physical origin. People love to believe that they're from an advanced extraterrestrial civilization, and this hypothesis hasn't been ruled out entirely by researchers at Breakthrough Listen, a scientific research program dedicated to finding evidence of intelligent life in the universe.

Fast radio bursts in space themselves are not rare, but FRB 121102 -- first detected in 2012 -- is the only one that has been known to repeat. And the repetition is sporadic.

Get Lt Uhuru calibrate her frequency to identify the source.....seems like a distant radio wave coming from an ancient civilization in the Gamma quadrant....fascinating.

On a serious note, articles like that on CNN help brings attention to the science of radio waves - while serving a specific agenda: GET CLICK VIEWS.... it must be aliens, which in turn generates public interest.

If the headline said: "Possible star collision emits RF." no clicks. Use the word "mysterious"... millions of views.

We see: "mysterious radio signal" and that immediately takes on another connotation in the psyche of the general public... one that people will actually click and read.

so a headline like: "What's sending mysterious repeating fast radio bursts in space?" is wonderful, as it brings one or two folk in the the realm of science and specifically RF engineering... just like Roswell helped motive the first push to the moon.

Sidenote: RF (Radio Frequency) is part of the electromagnetic spectrum. Everything from light emitted from the sun to radio waves to microwaves are form electromagnetic energy. If a volcano in St. Vincent erupts, it emits "radio bursts"... that is a bit of context for you.

Radio Science plug (as i've done here 1000 times): If anyone is keen to experiment with RF signal reception, I have built countless projects with SDR dongles and Raspberry PIs - my most recent was presented to Clemson University in the fall of 2017 - post Hurricane Maria in Dominica...

Forget Alien click bait... RF science saves lives in very pragmatic ways.... lol lol lol

I know. It's an existential connection.
His pseudo-physics filled a void in your otherwise very structured life.

Left-field coming home. Like the planet Zog or his 4 pole sun or Dec 21st or FEMA stockpiling coffins or DC is moving to Montana or DC Solar can't power a house...

He had a BAZILLION of these items that wet your panty day after day...

Man iz good to see you though. Happiness, Strength and health and time of both for you in 2018

cool

thanks mate.

you are correct. ToldUso's postings did stir a heavenly awakening in my being. i felt like i was transported to Nibiru when it made its closest elliptical pass near earth in the 3600 shar cycle.

i felt like ENKI coming to earth and creating mankind with Ninmah and then making sure man was not destroyed by the flood by giving Ziusudra the tablets instructing him how to build the submersible.

BTW - ToldUso still posts here. he was demoted to a sgt from being an alien general

Honestly, when Moonman said he could see mountain lions on the moon (from his back yard) I actually started (at that point onward) to really respect his post. Previous to that I thought: he was a guy out of his league trying to figure out complex things... no problem...

... but after the "I can see mountain lions on the moon, from my backyard" post I realized he was bat-shit-crazy and a remarkable guy in lieu of his mental state.

I miss him bout here, he was so much fun day after day.

brother sudden called him erudite once (don't laugh)... we now know he meant Aphrodite. TUS was his Aphrodite.
