There's no more Mr Nice Guy from West Indies skipper Jason Holder as he plots to lead his country to glory at the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2019.
Holder became the youngest captain in West Indian history when replacing Dwayne Bravo for ODIs in early 2015, aged just 23 years and 72 days.
He led the Caribbean nation to the quarter-finals of that year’s ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup but admits that the early days of his leadership saw him battle the reputation that he was too nice to make the tough decisions that come with captaincy.

In reply to CaribbeanCricket.comOne thing I have to say to Jason Holder, be careful of Dwayne Bravo. This is a cantankerous, greedy and selfish guy who will destroy the West Indies team if he (Holder) is not careful. What this guy did to the West Indies in India a few years ago is unforgivable in my book. He should never have been even considered for selection on any West Indies team ever again. Bravo and Lara are the two guys who did the most damage to West Indies cricket. Now that the team seems to be climbing out of the hole they left it, for some strange reason Bravo has reared his knuckled head again. And I hope he is not allowed to drag the team back into the hole he left it with his disgraceful, ghetto actions of a few years ago.

In reply to BeatDball If you really need to be reminded, apparently Bravo did not think Lara did enough damage to West Indies cricket. So he decided to put his greed, inflated ego and lack of patriotism and pride on full display when is aborted the tour of India on October 17, 2014. As a result, the West Indies became indebted to BCCI to the tune of millions of (scarce) dollars. This, coupled with the disgrace that naturally comes with the abortion of a tour over money, dealt West Indies cricket a near fatal blow. This is worse than the unsanctioned, unofficial tour of South Africa 1983-83/83-84, for which the touring members suffered serious consequences, even to this day. And whether you are being facetious, sarcastic or, you are really too young to remember, these are what went down. Therefore, Dwayne Bravo should NOT be in any West Indies team!

GARBAGE!!
Even the BCCI concluded that it was Dave Cameron and the WICB who had aborted that infamous 2014 tour to India.
This is why none of the players involved -e.g. Sammy, Pollard nor Bravo - suffered any reprisal from the BCCI with regard to them playing in the IPl.
