I wonder why WI opted out. The B team had a very superb showing.

Doesn't WI have other commitments with their development squad at that time?

West Indies virtually sent a "C" team last year to Global T20 Canada captained by Bramble with the only notable being Pooran. They almost won.

Allen and Rutherford emerged as budding T20 giants from that outing.

This a missed opportunity by West Indies to expose a few more young players who would not have been considered for selection for WI Senior or A team.

Maybe the GT Canada crew are satisfied that their league is now 'established' and would rather have the extra 'local' franchise in place to draft talent of their choosing?

I'm assuming the financiers of the league don't need to have a Windies development squad to make $$$.

Hard to get a gauge, their website is in need of an update and their twitter page is a bit helter-stelker at the moment.

I totally agree, them guys really showed up and we do have some guys who could of gotten some exposure. But maybe there was a cost that CWI couldn't afford I don't know
But I really thought they would of tried to keep this going.
