I finished my cancer radiation treatment on Jan 25th and would you believe it 3 days later had to be rushed to the hospital for emergency surgery to remove my appendix. I'm finally getting back on my feet. I was in so much pain the night I left the hospital I thought I was going to meet my maker. I had another vicious bout of pain on Sunday and was going to go back to hospital but the pain subsided after a few hours. Last 12 months have been rough but keeping my fingers crossed.

As an aside when my brother was a lil boy, he got hit with a cricket ball and it literally ruptured his appendix. He had emergency surgery. It was the only time I ever saw my father cry.
