Flags look too much alike.

Because I've watched him in the NCAA, I keep thinking of him as running for the US.

Unfortunately not good enough. A long but pretty average career.
Had Sherika and Novlene not ran out of their skin she'd have cost
us that 4x4 WC gold.

I just got time to watch it and it was a fantastic run. She has proven that she can come from behind, hold her for and do sub 10.8.
She passed Shricka and won GOING AWAY yet very relaxed! Chrissy predicted she'd have a good season

Headley 2023-05-07 03:15:54

I agree. Stephanie's last good year was 2 years ago when it seemed she was making a rebound. She ran a lot of 200m races in her preparation then and I keep wondering why she has not continued to do so. I am no coach but it is obvious to me that at the end of her races she has no lift her legs are dragging.

Julien is the read deal. Triple Crown winner.

Did you see Rhasidat Adeleke, the 20 year old running her 1st full year at the 400m level, beat favorite Britton Wilson in the 400m Final? She ran 49.20!

nice win. she handled the pressure well and didn't clobber any of the hurdles. 12.25 is no joke, whatever the wind is.

Agreed 100%. I was also extremely impressed with Phillip Lemonious win in the men's 110m hurdles. The guy hit/knocked down all the hurdles but yet was strong and fast enough to power in for a very good win. Major big ups for him.

The WR and the manner in which they're won. Surely, there've been distant runners who lasted long enough to garner
3 ea of those titles. If she even at this stage of her life can win 3 considering she won't be getting any relay medals
then she'd be right up there with the big man.

Too early on Watson. Quite young and will tell next year.
Thompson looks the real deal and may jump to top of entire new group, Oblique included.
Hansle pulled another one on Grant. He and Rasheed have made Grant pay in later parts of race.
Candace was a disappointment this year after showing big improvement last year.
Elaine. Wait and see.

Bad luck indeed for Hibbert. Regroup next year.
I am not familiar with Ryiem,Watson,Thompson. They just came out of the blue. However, they are a bright spot for the sprints come next year along with Oblique,Blake.Thompson especially.

It shows the great 'eye' for talent in The Yard (especially Franno...se Elaine)
If only 'di cricket' had the same and then the room for the growth.

Jacko .What can I say.
Sada feeling the effects of the WC.McLeod possibly on the rebound. Was expecting more of her this year.
These three benefitting from absence of Sydney. But Femke is on a roll.
Too bad they missed a medal...Ricketts and Williams.
Wow!Hickling was right there until the Aussies took her out.
Danielle should do well here.
Big Boy Mc. I need to see him through the year. He seems to be on a rebound, but he has disappointed too many times.Holding my breath.

Overall was surprised at the talent that showed up at Ja trials.Someone said at least 10-15 men have run under 10 seconds this year.Dont know how true that is but can account for some.

Bwoy the cricket in bad shape.Dont understand it though. Big money being tossed around, and they can't capitalize with the talent throughout the region.Went to same school as Holding,Samuels, and Walsh lived 5 minutes from my house.

They made two mistakes in that relay not one.
Brianna's first 30m are fast so she'd prssure
1st leg to go out fast and knowing Murca baton
coulda get messy. Plus, coulda exchange nearer
in the zone so that Elaine duh more distance than Brianna
yet still hand over earlier to a Shelly that's
faster than Sasha cutting Murca's 3rd leg advantage.
Still not sure if Shacarri could've been held off though.
Her split kinda looked like her 10.65 100m gold run.

Satisfactory performance by athletes especially Elaine, Jacko and Natasha.

Jacko on a mission and next week may be the time to quash Flo's record. That track is notoriously fast.

Elaine is steadily coming into the 10.7 realm. She may not be in Eugene as she is the #9 ranked now so she is out of a spot in the final. Someone has to drop out. She looks good though.

Natasha is surprising everyone. She has dropped below 11 several times this year and expectations of her are now coming to fruition even at 30.
Candace? Enigma!!
400 hurdlers did their best.Femke too tough and only Sydney can challenge.
Sada done for season???
Don't know what's going on with Dina. Maybe a little wash off in Ja could do it.( hehe ).
Next week is final week.Looking forward to it.

she needs to get it next week. she is in the best shape of her life, so strike while the iron is hot. Today, she flew past Neita like Neita was a class 3 athlete. A bit of wind on the fast track in Eugene might get her there.

Once Elaine lifted her head, the smooth strides of old were there. i expect to see her in Eugene.

Nice run but you could see she needed a little wind push..tired legs after a long and VERY successful season.

Let's hope we are all here for Paris next Summer. It could be a banner year for Track and Field.
A lot of young ones are doing well and alongside the established and a little more mature great ones,
Paris will be more than worth a Ticket.

That's my hope and I would like to see ETH on top of her game again and injury free.Shericka will certainly
challenge the WR if she keeps healthy and the JA Trials could provide a WR. I wonder ???? I dream sometimes.

Would be nice.
