Attorney Tim Parlatore, who last month resigned from the legal team representing Donald Trump in the Justice Department’s classified documents investigation, on Sunday said he wouldn’t be surprised if the former president ultimately faced no charges.
“No, not at all,” Parlatore told NBC’s “Meet The Press.”
He said the case poses complications for prosecutors, who would have to weigh whether to declassify certain documents to press charges against Trump.
“There are a lot of additional problems or procedures that you have to go through with that type of a case,” Parlatore added. “And especially when it’s politically sensitive.”
“No, not at all,” Parlatore told NBC’s “Meet The Press.”

Unlawful possession of classified documents in and of itself, though illegal - is not what Trump is facing charges for
Both Biden and Pence cooperated with the FBI when it was discovered that they had classified docs
Trump on the other hand willfully lied to the FBI, made attempts to obstruct the FBI, made attempts to unlawfully retain the classified docs for what appears to be a corrupt intent, allegedly gave unlawful access to individuals who were not authorized to view those docs….(most of which were caught on tape)
So if you look at the totality of the facts - the Biden, Pence and Trump cases are fundamentally different…..

In the 2016 debate, Hilliary accused Trump of being a tax cheat - Trump's response was yes, he manipulated the tax system to benefit himself like all the bigwigs.
He challenged the admin at the time to change the tax code, and he further asserted they would never do it because they all enjoy the loopholes.
We all know the system is rigged, but that is what is before us, so we must work with it.
So, did Trump break the law? Damn it, sure, he did, but personally, I don't think we should use a sledgehammer to kill a fly.
