Nothing is surprising here. Suppose you are a minority in the GOP, otherwise known as the LOP (Lying Old Party), to remain in good standing, it is necessary to sell one's soul by either degrading one's own or other minorities in ways pleasing to the majority white and dominant membership of the LOP.
