Wonderful person. He paid out of his pocket to transfer the elephants from the Toronto zoo to California bcs the Toronto winter was too harsh for them.
If I rem well, the sum was $96K give or take.
After he retired from the price is right, one of the prize was to the Calgary stampede. He said that would never have happened on his show.
Rest in peace big man!

Great guy. When I was much younger ,I used to think how lucky he was to work with Dian and Holly and the oher
model who was married. Lucky man as those were extra nice hostesses.
Never watch Price is Right after he left.

Bob ,as mentioned will long be remembered for this love of animals and he put his Money and Influence to the fore
with this.
