I came across this post on YouTube, titled History of Racism in Jamaica and published on Emancipation Day. There are some beautiful little nuggets in it, some quite a surprise to me.
I would love to have been able to hear Master Ewart's words on it.

I miss Ewart

Prior to our conversation on this platform, I had no prior knowledge of his background or personal information. Our talk primarily revolved around the topic of Ottawa.
The individual expressed astonishment at the extent of my knowledge pertaining to the nation's capital. I informed him of my imminent visit, citing the reason that two of my children have successfully completed their studies at the University of Ottawa Law faculty.
I had the privilege of spending a duration of five hours with him in Ottawa. His words had a profound impact on my personal growth, elevating me to a previously unknown level of understanding and awareness. He requested ongoing communication; but, external circumstances prevented the realization of this intention. One of the missed possibilities in my life.I was not anticipating his departure to occur with such expediency.
After the conclusion of the meal, I inquired of him, "Are you experiencing a state of contentment?" The words that he communicated to me will have a lasting impact on me until the end of my life.
Upon reflection, he found solace in his deity.
Ps I was banned from the forum..upon my return I found the thread in the back room.

Your children must be geniuses. Prodigies.
For you to be 36 and having children completing a 4-year university degree.
Wow!
What a fantastic achievement!

Undergraduate Degree
One of the requirements for entry into a Canadian law program(JD program or LLL program in Quebec) is at least a bachelors degree. In Canada, law schools are considered graduate programs thus you will need to complete your undergraduate degree. In order to qualify for bar membership in Canada, you must take either a Bachelor of Laws Degree (L.L.B.) or Juris Doctor (J.D.), which both take three years to complete
One must have a bachelors degree then go into law. plus Ottawa is a bilingual University and one wanted to go to Quebec
While the other provinces operate under common law, Quebec continues to apply civil law toward civil private law matters.Quebec is unique in Canada not only for its language and culture but also for its legal system. Unlike the other Canadian provinces which are based on the British common law tradition, the roots of Quebec's private law are based on the civil law and Napoleonic Code 1 from France.
I see why snoopy calls you a virgin
I adopted two kids from my family that passed away and brought them to Canada.
Your stupidity is beyond comprehension.
I see why T&T lack leadership with a moron as you about. You have any other moronic comments' ...
My other stalker...
What a fantastic story to add to your list of successes.
Its a remarkable achievement as a now 36 year old to have first adopted, and to then put your two adult children through law school.
Simply amazing. This is the stuff that movies are made from.

In reply to sgtdjones
OK, I got you.
Its just that a compulsively-lying, disgusting, morbidly obese, fraudulent, choo-choo train and barbie-doll-loving fruit-picking virgin, who strangely had the same handle as you, said that in 2020 you were 38 yrs old at the time.
That disgusting fraudulent loser should be banned for spreading lies about you!
Let's not even mention the legendary deck!
Use your far reaching influence to deal with that fat disgusting fraudulent fruit-picking cretin!

You need to commend the man who at 39 years old has a granddaughter graduating college as we speak. That is truly remarkable.
In reply to Drapsey
as well as twin 10 year old sons!
In reply to VIX
Let's break it down.
He had a child at the tender age of 13. The child, following in his/her father's footsteps, had a daughter at age 13. The granddaughter then outdoes everyone by graduating college at age 13.
Remarkable.
In reply to Drapsey
You're clearly a hater.
All the children and grandchildren, as well as the great-grandkids were adopted! They all attained degrees in their teens!
For $10,000 the proof of these achievements will be yours to see!
In reply to Drapsey

Guy adopted 16 and 17 yr old sisters in his 20s. What a magnanimous sacrifice.
Anyway, some people do get confused with their ages.
On occasion.
Sometimes on many occasions.

You're welcome, and thanks too. I was hoping for many people to view it, especially Yardies.
I considered complaining to Arawak, but then I just decided to haul and pull up, and mek de super dem gwaan. "Hijacked" is right; the thread was royally derailed. Shame! How classless it is to post someone's photo (allegedly doctored) on a public forum! As eXodus said... grown hard back men, to rass.

Yes, many should view... not just Yardies.
It was very educational and enlightening.
The breakdown of the privileged bank employment structure is on the backs of people, those gifted with ethics and awareness and the brave temerity to challenge the status quo.
Bank employment for black men/women in the Caribbean is one of the focuses of the video and it took decades still from that point to now, before a true "son of the soil" has been appointed as CEO of the remnants of said Barclays Bank. Mark St. Hill (now CEO) stands on the shoulders of men like Donald Edison Banks, the first black bank manager in our region. St. Hill, a good friend of mine for 50 odd years (primary school onward pals), will be also be sent this link (shortly).
@eXodus
Nice to hear you too boss. All is well on my end, I am making the most of retirement and living life simple, on my terms. Also still enjoying a cold Guinness from time to time. Cheers bro.

I know I saw the piece at the time but must've skimmed and noted for later consumption and never got back to it. Why is learning and scholarship not in the purview of right-wing politicians anymore? Just bloody say anything...!

Indeed. They are shameless. They are even on social media taking credit for Portia Simpsons Highway 2000 project
Misinformation on steroids!
I actually used the Chapter on Jamaica Welfare as one of the research paper options for students reading Politics of the Caribbean.

Is one of the things you are discussing related to your evaluation of Hetty? If such is the case, it might be advisable to exclude one of those areas of expertise.
It is advisable to refrain from making judgments about the abilities of others on the platform, given the insufficiency of your understanding in such matters, as indicated by a friend.
It goes back to the olé addige "it takes one to know one"..the one above this response knows such well..
Now he is giving our medical opinions...
