Oh Gawd , it's hot in Southern Ontario
Heat Warning
Hamilton, ON Weather
Updated on Tue, Sep 5, 12:25 p.m.
36°C FEELS LIKE 41°C
A few clouds
Description
Hot and humid conditions are expected through Wednesday.
Hazards:
Maximum temperatures of 29 to 34 degrees Celsius.
Humidex values near 40.
Timing:
A cooler air mass is expected Thursday.
Discussion:
A hot and humid airmass is expected through Wednesday. Daytime highs are expected to be 29 to 34 degrees Celsius. Overnight lows will be 18 to 22 degrees Celsius bringing little relief from the heat. Humidex values and daytime highs will be very atypical of early September.
The passage of a cold front will bring an end to the heat Thursday.
Hot and humid air can also bring deteriorating air quality and can result in the Air Quality Health Index approaching the high risk category.

The factory roof is 40 ft , this plant goes up to 55 ft .
Now Oxford Graduate can you (H)explain how we can build it inside?Ah waiting?
Some parts must be manufactured outside ..and in that heat and humidity its nasty.
In reply to JayMor
I am on the Niagara escarpment in Southern Ontario,
surrounded by the Great Lakes , the humidity is nasty.
10 minutes outside and it's like you just went under the shower with ones clothes on...
Our normal temperature at this time ..20 deg C...At night 12 deg C
The next few days 40 Deg C at night 25 deg C....
too hot.
In reply to googley
I am not at the house , I dont do pujas in air-condition places.
We build Chemical Plants and some are large so they are built outside.
the workers can get heat stroke quickly.
Normally we have two shifts , today we are closing early.
In reply to Slipfeeler
I love the cold weather one can dress appropriately.
In this heat it's impossible. Our hospitals Emergency rooms are filled with heat stroke human's.
In reply to sgtdjones
Thats the thing with those outside chemical plants. Too much pollution and when rain fall workers wet.
I like the indoors chemical plants better

See what happens even grass turning yellow..need some epsom salts .. well it's almost fall so I will restock next Spring...
In reply to googley
Pandit what you grinning at?..
You need some cooling lead pipes
In reply to sgtdjones
Thats lazy gardening.
A magnesium deficiency is the cause, or just plain lack of H2O? You know brown from yellow?
So that means you dont dethatch and aerate in spring then feed through the season? You use nematodes?
Man use the Epsom salts on yerself!!! Ya need the purge
In reply to Halliwell
What is epsom salt?
Epsom salt is also known as magnesium sulfate.
It's a chemical compound made up of magnesium, sulfur, and oxygen.
It's amazing when used on rose plants or in gardens.
I only aerate travelled areas on grass, early fall like now.
I dont have nematodes..wanna bee gardener
See Lawns it's the hot sun
I have never had such occur in numerous lawns on various properties, I have an arborist from
Beswick Tree Service that looks after my properties and he said it's the heat of the sun...ya gats that
I have automated sprinkler systems on all properties that come on at night for 30 minutes but this year it hasn't helped, normally after its fertilized they bloom backup...not this year.
Climate Change that your buddy Boris didn't believe, does Rishi?..
In reply to sgtdjones
Then I suggest you get some nematodes
I didnt ask it to point out a fault
Not having them is a crime! Can get them from Amazon
In reply to Halliwell
I have some very old oak , maple and walnut trees I am concerned about them
Kinda worried about putting such, can fishing worms do the same thing.?
In reply to sgtdjones
Errr we talking about lawns still?
And lawn health?
And nematodes to mash eeen the leatherjackets?
If is old Oak and that is Canada, them trees should have protection orders on dem
Youll get yuh rass in jail for killing them
In reply to Halliwell
Yes still lawns ...and lawn health. Some stuff are sold in the US but I cannot bring it back to Canada.
Golf Courses in Canada can buy such under license, but I cannot.I may just fertilize it for the winter , if such fails , dig it up it and reseed next spring.
The oak trees I sold one to a furniture manufacture in Carolinas for 50,000 dollars .
They came up and wrapped that tree like a mummy and cut it in strategic locations.
Then took it to the furniture manufacturing facility.
If any tree is on my property I can cut it down. If it's in an area where an
easement reside, I cannot touch it.The city will plant a tree on such land.
