Has changed ownership and programming is now all Spanish. Has created a huge void in english speaking Caribbean radio in the tri-state area. Particularly miss Carl B. Moxie's vintage Reggae music on Saturday mornings/afternoons.

NYC has no Caribbean Music Station?
I must text Halliwell and Pondie to start one..

Pondie lives in Old Blighty-- can't help.

Yeah, I saw the Gleaner report last week. How sad! By now our community should be strong enough to make a Jamaican-owned station feasible, so I hope a consortium can be cobbled together for that purpose. Mind you, same didn't work in the case of AM station WAVS in south Florida. Station was white owned but programming was heavily Jamaican. Yet when the owner got old and wanted to retire, the station passed into Haitian hands.
