I was driving home last night in horrible weather conditions from a trip up in New England after spending the weekend with one of my kids..rain was pouring down in buckets..I was in the “slow lane” of a two lane highway (91 that cuts through Vermont, Massachusetts and Connecticut )…

I noticed a Black Ford Mustang literally flying behind me in the fast lane..there was one car directly in front of me but I was keeping a safe distance given the poor visibility and the pooling of water on the road…the Mustang flew by me and I thought to myself if this person was crazy (I couldn’t tell what the gender of the driver was or how many passengers were in the car).

The mobile phone service in this area (White River Junction VT) was non-existent…the Mustang flew by the car in front of me and then next thing I saw was a violent jackknifing and the Mustang cut across the highway at a 90 degree angle and flew off the road into a gully about 20 feet deep at the side of the road…luckily the car ended up on its wheels and not on its roof…

My wife and another of my kids who were in the car with me contemplated whether to call 911 but not only did we not have phone service but we didn't think it was safe to hang around in that section of the road in those conditions ….

About 3 miles further up the road I saw a Vermont State Trooper’s car in the median between the North and South highways doing speed trap duty..I pulled up beside him and told him that a car had just flown off the road..obviously he hadn’t gotten the report on his radio as yet..He thanked me and turned on his lights and flew down the road to go check out the situation…I don't know what happened to the occupants of the Mustang..Hopefully they didn't suffer any serious injury. - at the very least however they got very badly shaken up…

It is good to know you and family are safe.
I am bless to have two of the most loving men, who calls me dad, after losing their parents in an accident.
These boys was in the car that Sunday evening, we were going to have dinner and watch football.

As the autumn season draws near, roadways assume a perilous nature, prompting contemplation on the intriguing tendency of individuals to disregard cautionary advisories and neglect adherence to the signage prominently displayed along highways.
Two years ago, I was involved in a hit-and-run incident in Ottawa, where a Priest from Kingston Maximum Penitentiary was the responsible party. I pursued the individual in question, as the sole area of the car that incurred damage was the front section. Subsequently, I was apprehended by the Ontario Provincial Police for exceeding the speed limit while in pursuit of such individual.I provided the officer with the available facts regarding the arrest and subsequent charges brought against the priest, to which he entered a plea of guilty.

Subsequently, the clergyman requested that I affix my signature to a legal document, often known as a waiver, prior to providing compensation for the vehicular impairments sustained by my car.This precautionary measure was undertaken to safeguard his professional standing, thereby mitigating the risk of potential job termination.The reimbursement, however, was not disbursed until a span of two months had elapsed.


I hold a critical stance towards religion for the following reasons...My relative and I were exposed to a significant risk of fatality as a result of an individual's decision to execute a U-turn on a heavily trafficked highway.
