Actually, three shocking nights of Caribbean news remain with me to this day. The assassinations of Maurice Bishop and Walter Rodney are the others.

The brother I 'follow' got to know Peter through Bagga Brown, he was in Canada on vacation at the time.
Can't forget the sorrow in his voice when he called and said/asked 'Man nutt'n can really go suh? It sound really bad and embarrassing in the media up here'

Will never forget. Peter was a close friend who used to date my classmate's sister.
I was at school in Canada when this girl called me Saturday morning Sept 12, 1987- my birthday- to tell me that Pater had been shot and killed the previous night. Michael Robinson-another classmate's brother-whose birthday is actually today Sep 13-from Barbican, was also shot in the incident. He thankfully survived.
