Hotter than usual in the caribbean this year
In reply to velo
Indeed. This daily heat is unprecedented.
Even early morning commutes are unbearable.

Back in the days all day in the sun chasing cows etc but nothing beats this heat
..damn today I was literally frying
In reply to doosra
Agreed- all day in grass lands used to be bearable with a nearby guava tree
Planet heating up is no joke
As much as its fashionable for politicians to play up their macho ignorance and anti-science

My advice would be retreat to the shade. There temps will definitely be under 100 degrees. Hope this helps.
In Britain, the UHI effect, the ubiquity of double glazing and improved building insulation standards explain far more of the perceived rise in urban temperatures during summer than any minor fluctuation in global temperatures.

I was in Guyana 3 weeks ago and it was hot as hell!
In reply to StumpCam
So are you saying that Guyana is Hell?????
In reply to WI_cricfan
Helluva country! How else would you describe a country where every driver has the right of way!
Was at Cable beach in the Bahamas a couple weeks ago.
Warmest ocean water Ive ever been in, like a heated pool.
Actually scary.
Greetings gents, ladies and LGBTQI folks hope all are well. I agree the planet is overheating I was in Guyana last month and it was brutal, never experienced such before, the locals agreed.

It was the hottest in Southern Ontario this year.
We had about 10 days of over 40 deg C ..on the Niagara Escarpment over 100m high.
Winds come off Lake Ontario and Lake Erie, some black cherry leaves were curling and dropping during such days.
I prefer Fall and Winter..I cant dress for summer impossible.

Fall is my favourite season. Hope it is typical this year as my lawn is still asleep
and burned in many places because of the heat. Had high 90s for seven days at start of this
month.
Adjustments got to be made as this climate change thing is very real although many still
don't believe any such thing exist. The evidence convinces me and it is most likely to get
worse each succeeding year.
