So we have Nandu who looked good last night and Johnson who is looking really impressive in SL. We have McKenzie who has not quite fulfilled his promise in CPL and Athanaze who has shown some flashes of class. With one young opener and three young middle order batsmen, things not looking too bad

Can you name one present West Indies player the is successful at the longer formats?
T20 cricket is about SR, with little emphasis on average, it has taken Shai Hope a number of years to get his SR up, and to be comfortable in the white ball format.
T20 cricket is for youngsters, who want to go that route, because they will not succeed at the ODI or test level, the muscle memory that is needed to succeed at the longer version, will be lacking.
Pommie Mbangwa in answering a question about the emerging players on the Barbados squad, said he was surprise to see so many youngsters, because T20 is for players with experience.
