st lucia was given a gift by warriors
Warriors were desperate to lose this game.
foolish to experiment knowing this is a ground to bat second because of the dew factor.
All bowlers were taking to the cleaner and their confidence must be very low now.
warriors fans paid lots of money for this joke.
Taken forcibly
Looks like stage fright stepping in already for the Warriors
Do any of you understand cricket? This was a strategically correct move in a match that had no importance for the Warriors. Teams have no control over the toss. They could lose the tosses in the semifinal and final and be placed in the position of bowling second. They saw the huge amount of dew in the first game and how it affected the bowlers having to bowl with the wet ball.
This was a master stroke of planning to give their bowlers the chance to experience having to bowl with a wet ball.
All of this was explained by commentators before the toss, by the Skipper at the toss and by commentators throughout the game.
Wow. Understanding really is difficult.

Because people disagree with you- maybe its because they do understand

Correct
The rationale for batting first was explained by Tahir at the toss...discussed by the comms throughout the match...and at the end by Tahir again...
They are already in the qualifiers, and GAW wanted to experience the dew factor when bowling 2nd.

I don't think too many people are critical of their decision to experiment and bowl last.
Most people however are somewhat bewildered by how they batted knowing that bowling last would be a challenge and that they therefore needed a big score.

that's true. only azam khan seemed to play with any impetus and fluency

Dem men does forget sometimes that this is lickit cricket and there's a reason for the power-play overs.
This is the way they have batted in the powerplay throughout the tournament. The commentators have made much of the fact that Saim Ayub bats faster later on than in the power play. Then you add a youngster, playing only his second game and what did people really expect? To be followed by Hope, whose strike rate is also not great. The batting line up needs to change. Duke picked a team on another thread that is perfect. Time for blooding young players is over. It is now the crucial stage. Open with Ayub and Hope then Hetty, Azam Khan, Keemo and Rosario. The rest can follow. Pretorius, Odean and Motie can all be finishers.

When Pollard said during the first game that he was experimenting on his batting lineup, posters here scoffed at him...
GAW lost last nite and no excuse...

Great excuse for an officer of the Court Snoopy...

All of this may be true so why not play Sinclair to firstly get his feet wet in the tournament?
