NBA is one of the best analogies he could have used to get across the point that he wanted to get across. And that point was about layoffs on the way to the playoffs phase of a tournament, when there may be meaningless games, and the debate then about the value of rest.
What’s so wrong about referencing the NBA, where this debate is more prevalent than in most other sports…and especially as NBA is very widely followed in the Caribbean?
