Kyle Mayers has failed miserably in T-20 also...... inspite several chances even in World Cup T-20 qualifiers in Australia..
Odean Smith can hit ball as clean as nobody...

Smith was used as pinch hitter for GAW in the past....and that experiment failed miserably.
To date... Smith has shown he is not a consistent performer...with bat nor ball nor in the field.
A cappo never knows which Smith he is getting on the day...we saw the same in IPL

In T-20 ...as opener...just have a look at Mayers....his performance is disaster...Odean has X- factor....I reckon, he can be much more contributive....just few months back...all posters were calling Shepherd, run trunks....now the same posters hailing him...
To me, Odean can be white ball game changer for West Indies, given some liberties are given to him....as Mayers and others have enjoyed..
