i hope they don't do the same nonsense and price out the world cup for the locals. That 2007 world cup was the fullest realization of murphy's law

This is not a good look for Jamaica is there any thought for young Jamaican cricketers who aim to be stars making a decent living out of the game. The opportunities to do so have never been more plentiful.

Why didn't the Jamaica Cricket President run for WICB top post when Skerritt left? It's time Jamaica with majority of the population of the region up their game. There is an embarrassing lack of leadership in cricket. Quit hiding for unknown reasons while smaller territories pull their weight.

Sad to see Jamaica not getting any matches. In fact they don’t get much cricket at all anymore.

They were no denied. They did not submit a bid for matches ...

they are taking 20 matches to the USA which is alot. I expect the USA to be the main host next time around the world cup comes to WI/USA

Cricket as a sport has long left Jamaica, not much interest among younger Jamaicans for cricket, when they can receive plenty scholarships to run track or play football at US Universities and Colleges. It’s easier for my High school football team to full Sabina Park than the Jamaican or West Indies Cricket teams, so that’s a synopsis of the apathy of the newer Jamaican population towards cricket as a sport. Kudos to those Jamaicans still representing West Indies or their country, and big up to some high schools who are trying to promote the sport, including St. Mary, STETHS, Vere, Wolmers, Holmwood, Tacky, etc.

They got played. They are like the titties of the 2007 WC. Remember what they did and then started complaining that they were bush-whacked, blind-sided?

Jamaica thought it was automatic for them.

The USA is proxy for India when it comes to cricket.

Dollars to donuts most of the matches in the US will feature India.

Not just the US, CWI has been doing India’s bidding for a long time now.

well to be honest, at least the BCCI does respect the FTP. remember when they pull gayle, bravo, sarwan and tiger from the ipl in SA to have them play england a few weeks after we won the wisden trophy(first time in eleven years) because england needed a warm up before the 2009 ashes
