Won't comment on all the players:
GK : Spencer - perhaps the best in CONCACAF
CD : Swaby - a fantastic player
CD : Plummer (and her hair) - she moves in installments, should concentrate on club football
AM : Spence - a steady game. Along with Shaw the only ones in the front 6 that opponents consider worth defending.
RB ; Wilthsire (and her hair) - some man come on here and tell me this and that about experts rankings and panel of expert game by game evaluators. Wilthsire was named RB on the World Cup all-group round team. NONSENSE - Jamaica had to get a player on that team due to their showing and none of Shaw (??), Spencer, Swabys or Spence (who were world class in the prelim rounds) could clinch a spot so she got a pity pick ...bout experts. I trust my eyes.
LB : Blackwood, most limited and repeatedly out of position.
CDM: Simpson - as usual steady and unspectacular.
RW : Willaims (nee Matthews) Always been clumsy with the ball at her feet, nothing has changed.
RW : Cameron - must start if Williams is the option.
COACH - need to find a creative midfielder to accompany Spence and Simpson and two wingers of class. Shaw will never be the world class club player that she is in Europe in a Jamaican vest with this accompanying cast.

The lack of friendly games against teams closer to Jamaica's level is negatively impacting the team executing on the offensive end of the game.
The JFF is doing a really poor job.

Team (well some of them) grades:
NOTE - to him who enjoys telling me how the "experts" rank the players. These are my rankings based on what I saw:
GK : Spencer (9.0) even with two getting by her she showed her class. I ask again, is there a better CONCACAF 'keeper?
LB : Blackwood (2.5) the (note this word Sir) "experts" named her MVP in game 1 of the World Cup. I would ranked her below Spencer, Spence and the Swaby sisters for that honor. "Experts" ha ha! She had a poor game tonight as she has been doing since Game 1 of the World Cup!
CH : Swaby (7.0) held up well though getting beat clearly on one occasion
CH : A. Swaby (7.0) solid outing.
RB : Wiltshire (4.0) the Canadians went down her wing often even though Blackwood was giving free passes into our box on the left side.
AM : Spence (8.5) GENERAL!
CDM : Bailey-Gayle (4.0) give me Vyan Simpson every day of the week.
RW : Cameron (5.0) helped on defense but not much offensively.
F : both of them ran (ok walked fast) a lot but don't have the skills at this level.
COACH : get yourself (a) two wing backs (b) a solid midfielder so Spence can be more attacking and Simpson can sit before the defense. (c ) two wingers. Jody Brown can come off the bench. In other words in Shaw, Spence, A. Swaby, C. Swaby and Spencer we have 5 world class players.

Blackwood should be moved to midfield….she can be effective in that role but she’s definitely not a left back

I dont know which bredda yuh talking about but it doesn't mean that good players cant have crappy games….Blackwood is not a bad player(neither the cricketer nor the footballer) but while she may have had one great game in the World Cup (and was deservedly named as the MVP) I personally don't think that defending is her strongest suit…As I said before, if I were the coach I would seriously consider either playing her in the left midfield or as a double pivot on the right midfield and play Tiffany Cameron as the left back…Unlike you, I judge players based on performance - I’m prepared to give credit where credit is due and to call out players when they do poorly….
