The way T&T batted should be a teachable moment for all cricket fans.
Power hitters have a role in the T20 format, but not every batsman should be instructed to power hit.
Pooran got drop, next ball down the wicket, got caught, Pollard promoted, out power hitting.
Hosein promoted, out power hitting, Russell at bat, out power hitting, Narine got out the same way.
No one wanted to bat overs, rotate the strike.
Shai and Ayub had a different approach, hit bad balls, run, run, run.

Indeed Big Congratulations to GAW, the scouting and team management as well at to long awaiting fans.

The best team of the tournament won. No complaints at all about that. TKR after 2 disappointing seasons needs to re-consider and update the team. It is a move in the right direction to get Carty who has shown that he can handle the big stage over and over again. It was great to see Junior Sinclar, Motie, Hope, Carty all play significant roles. I must confess that by the end of the tournament I was getting bored. I am looking forward to a break from cricket and then looking at Super50. I hope that is not clashing with the SA tour so that we can see the best of the young players in the region in action.
