Academy pull a mini Australia on the poor Irish. Well done. Great fighting spirit.

A win is a win but it was not satisfactory some of these batsmen are still not learning fast enough and still keep giving away their hand

Congrats to the WI, but the series win should have been more convincing, some players hopefully took notes and try to become better, batters like Allenye, T Bishop, Julien and Aguste

i went down for a couple hours today. Yes, there is still a lot of work to be done in concentration and technique. i wanted to see Johnson in particular but the young man played a pleasing push and then left a big gap between bat and pad next ball and that was the end of him. Young is very reminiscent of Clive Lloyd in how he goes about trying to rescue his team when it is in trouble. Bishop, Wickham, Alleyne all still are work in progress but if you have the right attitude, you can go far. And it is very pleasing to see that nws the criticism that CWI deserves, they really seem to be backing the Academy. Looking forward to the 4 day matches.

Great analysis of a young group.

Josh Bishop and Nedd, esp Bishop, seem to be really good talents. I am looking forward to seeing them in the 4 day matches to see how they do with the red ball and the absence of scoreboard pressure on opposing batsmen. Either or both should make the A team soon.
