Greaves definitely deserves a look in, esp since there should still be an opening spot available for ODI cricket (and it ain't Lewis)

I'm not sold on Hodge.

Louis yes, although he needs some 4th stump recognition.
He is new and should improve.

I believe that that Greaves will not get his deserved pick.

King/Lewis opening partnership is there.
King just has to get back to playing correct,
and feed off Lewis, who is a quick scorer.

Yesterday was a perfect example,
he struggled to a certain extent, but Lewis was scoring freely.
With a small score to get, he should have tried to gain some form.
I believe that he tried.

Revo hanging on by a thread only vor, scammy and fifth columnist powen defending what's left lol lol

Onionman0 2024-11-02 00:51:06

Greaves was 70 runs in 67 balls.....over 25 overs......

He made next 40 runs...in 66 balls....when the inning was nearing end....inning entire moment gone.... although Kofi did excellent... Leeward failed to score a winning total but par....

Greaves must rectify....

New selection policy takes lots of things into account....

Greaves, surely would be included....Lewis- Greaves pair....not only batting wise... Greaves all rounder...gives cappo a bowling option... Credit to ice-cream man also.... Simmons was first to promote him against Ireland as opener....
Simmons, in his moments of suffering in Bangladesh, at least has something to cheers.....

Hanging by a thread you say well somebody did not get the memo:

SLK win.
Jewel Andrew, Mikyle Louis, Keacy Carty, Allick Athanaze (Yes he will be back), Kavem Hodge, Aljo and adopted Revo Greaves just to name a few.

Rumors of the Revo's demise have been greatly exaggerated.

Nah man. Is jes shame he shame.

I been telling him about Justin Greaves since Greaves was about 13 or 14 years old.

He was a kraigg Brathwaite disciple and I told him from way back then that kraigg cyah bat.

For years he refused to believe what his own eyes displayed to him about kraigg. I also told him that Greaves was the best bat in Bim.

Bim kept using Greaves as a lower order bat bowling all rounder. However, Phil Simmons saw his ability and gave him his WI opportunity, but cruelly made him open……same as he did to Shai Hope with similar results for both.

Greaves has been horribly mismanaged throughout his career. And even now, he continues to get the shaft even after a creditable showing in Australia with the test team.

But as they say…..cannot keep a good man down. CWI sure as hell tryin dey best to do just that tho.

And my brother openning silent all the time. As I said…….is shame he shame cool

Simmons, has been disaster as West Indies Coach..... specially persisting with Mayers, a tit- bit player...

But as far as Greaves.... Simmons did recognise his potential...he was spot on with Greaves as opener....Greaves himself was overwhelmed and couldn't perform.....but that laid the foundation for today's success....Kudos to Ice- cream man ...

Exactly. First time I saw Greaves I said this dude can bat. And it was only confirmed by his performance in Australia and in the CPL. His fundamentals are sound. I really hope they pick him for the test series coming up
